Choosing a coach requires careful consideration and each coach will have their own style.

Michael takes a creative, athlete-centered approach to coaching, helping athletes find their inner source of motivation to achieve their goals. He uses knowledge from a wide range of sources, not just his racing experience.

Whats the coaching process?
  1. Initial consulation to define goals for the athlete.
  2. Develop performance benchmarks.
  3. Prescribe training, and monitor feedback.
  4. Regularly review benchmarks and goals and consider new areas for improvement.
  5. Provide ongoing support for practical, tactical, emotional and psychological issues which may arise.

Training plans and feedback are delivered and monitored via email, or Training Peaks.

All the elements of the advanced package plus one of the following each month:

  • 1hr bike fit session
  • 1.5hr training session
  • Wattbike performance benchmark
  • Race attendance (available after 4 months of coaching)

This package is for athletes who want a tailored training plan, designed to help them reach discipline specific goals.

  • Changes made to plan as required

Enhanced Coaching Package

This package is for athletes who want the most extensive coach support in order reach the top.

The package includes all the elements of Full Coaching. In addition to this, on of the following per month:

  • 1hr bike fit session
  • 1.5hr training session
  • Wattbike performance benchmark
  • Race attendance (available after 4 months of coaching)

Basic Coaching Package and Mentoring

This package is ideal for riders who are looking for a bespoke training plan, designed to suit them and the event they are training for.

Or for riders looking for regular feedback and support in planning their own training.

  • or weekly feedback and discussion

Training Plans

Training Plans are ideal for riders who are new to training and want to work towards a specific event or goals.

Training Plans will be designed for a specific discipline or goal, e.g. a 1hr ciruit race or 10 mile time trial.
