What’s Involved in 1-2-1 Coaching?

The aim of 1-2-1 coaching is to help you to achieve your bike riding goals, that may be race results, but it could also be improving fitness for health and enjoyment.

Part of this process is training guidance in the form of a training plan, but it will also help you to improve technically, tactically and psychologically in your discipline.

Michael is a qualified British Cycling Level 3 Road & MTB coach, with 100s of hrs of relevant coaching and bike racing experience, his approach is personalised and authentic.

Whats the coaching process?
  1. Initial Consultation – understand your motivation, strengths and weaknesses
  2. Set Performance Benchmarks/Objectives
  3. Deliver Training Guidance
  4. Evaluate Progress

Performance coaching is usually delivered using Training Peaks online platform, with face to face coaching support when required.

Off the bike Strength & Conditioning

Strength and conditioning is an effective way of improving robustness, avoiding injury, developing movement skills and increasing maximum power ability. This can be included as part of the training package and will be delivered by Adam Copley.
