My Trail Progression Programme offers guranteed progress in specific skills.

Over the years that i've been coaching i've discovered that MTB skills coaching doesnt work.

But this isn’t surprising….

…Consider the 10,000 hr rule for mastering skills… how can a few hours of coaching deliver significant progress?

Guidance during coaching sessions will help riders to make progress. But outside of the sessions riders struggle to maintain those improvements and return back to old habits.

My Trail Progression Programme offers a better approach to coaching:

  • Achieve garuanteed progress on a specific skill.
  • ‘Learn to learn’ – through self-observation techniques
  • Build confidence through gradual progression & feedback over 3 months
  • Undo bad habits picked up through self taught riding
  • Decode more complex skills
  • Get more bang for your buck with coaching

The programme gives me the time to tailor & progress your sessions in a way thats best for you.

How does it work?

I offer two options, solo & group.

The programme is delivered in 5 parts:

  1.  Basecamp MTB Skills Group 3hrs- receive your tailored MTB skills improvement plan with core exercises & trail skill sessions
  2. Online feedback - 30-60mins depending on group size
  3. Progression Session 1 Solo or Group 3hrs- transfer improvements in core skills  to specific trail techniques.
  4. online feedback - 30-60mins depending on group size
  5. Progression session Group 3hrs - challenge yourself with progressions in trails techniques

Group sessions are organised into riders working on similar skills, e.g. jumping & flow, technical descending or race skills.

Online feedback sessions are a key part in 'learning to learn'. In these sessions I analyse your videos, analyse and provide feedback.
