Is this course right for you?
This course is for very experienced intermediate to advanced riders who’ve had coaching with me before. Typically 3-4 years experience of riding red or black graded MTB trails.
- If I havent already invited you to join this course, you need to contact me to check this is suitable
- Unless you’ve been on these courses before with me, you need to join session 1 in December.
- The trails we use are very different to Parkwood Springs, Greno, Farmer Johns etc Level1/2 courses. They are steep, rocky/rooty, wet slippery. We are focusing on riding natural terrain. So everything you’d see in a DH/Enduro race that isnt a tabletop/gap jump/berm.
- You must be confident riding red graded trails.
- Good quality hardtail MTBs are fine, as long as they have good brakes and suspension forks that work.
- All bikes need to have tyres with suitable tread for mud, shallow XC tread isnt suitable. Schwalbe Magic Mary or Maxxis Minion are examples of appropriate tyres.
- For 11-18 year olds.
- These sessions are physically demanding. They are 4hrs. Likely to be cold/wet/muddy. There will be a lot of pushing up steep hills. Waterproof clothing and winter clothing is essential.
