Forest Fitness Session (AM)

A morning of fun and games in Greno Woods to keep your kids occupied during the school holidays.

Kids will take part in activities designed to help build strength, movement skills and balance, including:
• Team fitness games (think Tug of War…)
• Bodyweight circuits
• Scavenger hunt

Fun-letics Workshop (PM)

These are fun sessions designed to help your child develop their running, speed, agility balance and co-ordination skills, that are helpful for all sports.
Activities will include:
• Speed & agility drills
• Balance & stability exercises and games
• Working on proper running form and technique
• Team games and activities
The morning sessions are run jointly with Michael Guilford from Rideabout.co . You can book your kids on to a full day of activity with either a kids MTB course, or Fun-letics workshop available straight after at the same location. (MTB courses booked separately)
• Suitable for ages 8 +. 8 spaces available for each session. You can book one session (either morning or afternoon), or the whole day.

NOTE: A minimum of 4 participants need to be signed up to run these sessions. If I am not able to run the session due to low numbers I can offer a refund, or move your child onto a different course. I will give you plenty of notice if this is the case.

 

What to bring:
Sessions will run regardless of the weather. The only reason the session will not take place is very high winds due to the risk of falling branches / trees.
Your kid(s) must have with them:
– A full water bottle, at least 1.5litres
– Suncream
– Hat
– Snacks (lunch if staying for the whole day)
– Waterproof jacket and at least one extra layer
Advisable to bring:
– Insect repellent (we are in the woods after all!)
– Change of clothes, especially if taking part in the whole day
